How SGPs work is you add a prediction to your betting slip like you would if you were making a standard bet, and then you simply add another prediction from the same game to the same betting slip. So you might bet on the Philadelphia Eagles to beat the New York Giants and Jalen Hurts to throw for 3 touchdowns.

Moneyline
Moneyline is the most common bet type in same game parlays and simply involves predicting a team to win. For example, wagering on the New York Yankees to beat the New York Mets. If your selected team is up when the final whistle blows, you win!
Spread
A spread bet is similar to a moneyline bet, where you need to predict the winner of a game. However, the sportsbook adds a – points handicap to the favorite and a + points handicap to the underdog.

SGP odds and payouts vary based on the number of legs, the amount you are wagering, and the odds of your individual selections. An advantage of same game parlays is you can combine all of your action into a single sporting event. Instead of trying to follow the action from 2 NBA games, 1 MLB, and 2 NFL games, you can turn your total attention, for example, to just a single NBA game.
Same game parlays offer you a greater chance of winning compared to standard parlays because your selections are correlated. For example, if you create a 2-leg parlay where you bet on Lebron and Steph Curry to both score 30 + points in different games, those two events are independent. However, if you bet on Curry to drop 30 + points and the Warriors to win, those two bets are correlated because it is likely if Curry has a good game that the Warriors will win.
Same game parlays provide bigger payouts than single bets. If you want to chase a huge payout from a small stake, then single bets are not going to cut out. However, if you fire up a 20 + leg same game parlay, you can bet $10 and have a 6-figure potential win.
The downside to FanDuel same game parlays is that these bets are significantly riskier than single bets. This is because you essentially have to go on a winning streak of single bets to receive your winnings. To get the best payout, you are often best off skipping same game parlays entirely and instead making a single bet, and then once that bet wins, taking the stake and winnings from your previous bet and then making another single wager.
