Below, we’ll answer a few FAQs about this model to help you make the best of your Bible study experience. Then, we’ll share with you our three favorite ways to utilize a Bible study book with video access!
How will I access the videos that come with my Bible study book?
There is a unique access code printed in each Bible study book. Flip to the back of your book to find this redemption code on the page with the title “Here’s Your Video Access.” You’ll access your video content by going to my.lifeway.com/redeem, registering or logging in to your Lifeway account, and entering the redemption code to gain access to your individual-use video license.
How long will I have access to the videos that come with my Bible study book?
There is no expiration date on the video access that comes with your Bible study book! You’ll be able to access it as long as it is available through our Lifeway on Demand video apps.
What are the benefits of video access being included in each Bible study book?
- This provides more flexibility for group meeting time. Groups now have the option to have group members watch video sessions outside of group meetings to allow more time for discussion.
- If a group member misses a weekly group meeting due to sickness or travel, they will be able to access the video content on their own and continue in their study.
- Group members can rewatch video sessions that were particularly impactful on their own time.
- This simplifies what a group leader needs to facilitate Bible study. You’ll now get everything you need with just the Bible study book.

Is there a leader kit available for this study?
TheBible studies that include a book with video access will not have a leader kit. Instead, the Bible study book will come with individual streaming access to the teaching videos. So, you will just need a Bible study book for each member of your group! If you prefer a physical copy of the video content, DVDs are available for purchase separately with some studies.
I’m leading a group. Do I need the DVD set?
No. Because theBible study book includes streaming access, the purchase of the DVD set is optional (not essential) for group leaders. This option is for groups who may not have reliable streaming internet access.
What do I need to lead a group?
Each group member will need a Bible study book, which will include video access. The Video Streaming – Group product provides video access for groups who choose not to use the Bible study books. There is also a DVD option for groups wanting a non-streaming viewing option. For the best experience, we recommend each group member have a Bible study book.
My group members can’t afford the Bible study book with the increased price. Is there an option to buy the Bible study book without video access?
There is not an option to purchase the book without video access. The content of the video is a necessary part of the Bible study experience, so this product allows each person to have her own access to the videos.
Three Ways to Use a Bible Study Book with Video Access
Studying on your own:
1. The author’s video teaching sessions, available via redemption code for perpetual video-streaming access, are printed in each Bible study book that includes video access. If you’re studying on your own, you can do each session’s personal study and watch the videos at your own pace.
Studying with a Group: Each group member will need a Bible study book that includes video access. Because all participants will have access to the video content, you can choose:
2. To watch the videos outside of your group meeting and use the full group meeting time to discuss the teaching sessions and each member’s takeaways from that week’s session of personal study.
3. To watch that week’s video during your group meeting time and then discuss the group members’ takeaways during the time you have left in your group meeting.
Both of these options work well if you have someone who misses a group meeting because she’ll have the flexibility to catch up at home!
